He is a cook who tries his best while working at the Krusty Krabs.
Just looking at Spongebob will make you laugh. He has skinny feet, but a square body and head. He also hs an annoying voice and a unique laugh. This is what makes him stand out from all of his friends.

Patrick
Patrick is a purple starfish who has known Spongebob for a while now. He is pretty clumsy and goofy looking, but when it comes to helping his friends, he tries his best.
Sandy
Another good friend of Spongebob is Sandy. She is quite the enigma, because she is a squirrel who lives underwater. See lives in an underwater dome and is uses her swimsuit to breathe while journeying through the sea.
Sandy is an expert in karate and had challenged Spongebob to a karate showdown.
Mr. Krabs
Mr. Krusty is Spongebob his boss at the Krusty Krabs. He only has one thing in his mind and that is money. He also only has one thing in his eyes and that is seeing more money. He wants to get rich at the expense of everybody else.
Squidward
He is the moody sea animal of the show. He works at the Krusty Krabs and hates it. He also tries to make Spongebob his live as miserable as his. He thinks really highly of himself and does not consider Spongebob and Patrick his friends.
What makes the cartoon also so interesting is that many impossible things happen in the world of Spongebob. It is not impossible to see cars driving by or electricity being used under water.
Spongebob and his friends go through many adventures and the cartoon does not take itself to seriously. This is a good thing, because there are many jokes and pranks that happen if you pay attention.
