There is a new member of the Travel based MLM companies available. Pyxism, Inc came on the scene in January, 2010. Lloyd Wilson of San Clemente, California is the CEO and founder of Pyxism. In my recent article, “MLM-Choosing A Company”, I discussed important features to look at when choosing an MLM company. Let’s take a look at each of those criteria with regard to Pyxism.
Pro-Management: Pyxism’s founder, Lloyd Wilson has extensive business experience. Over the past 35 years he has been successful in a variety of industries including Banking, Tele-communications, Network Marketing, and more. He is considered to be a competent and reliable leader.
Pro-Honesty: The company thus far has been very candid with its members. Management has made itself available for questions and concerns raised by members and potential members. They have been very timely with payments to associates and have actually improved the compensation plan since beginning. Pyxism has a short history but they have done everything right so far.
Pro-Travel Products: The company offers a variety of Travel products. The most deeply discounted are travel packages. Pyxism also has a travel desk where you can speak to a person and book travel to virtually anywhere in the world. The prices are similar to Orbitz, Travelocity, or Expedia but Pyxism members receive 50% of the agents commission from the booking. A nice plus for Pyxism members. The Pyxism travel product would be a good deal regardless of the MLM component. The product gets two thumbs up!
Con-The Product: At this time the number of Travel packages with deep discounts are primarily available around the US. There are some in Europe and Australia, and a few in Asia, but not to the degree that I would like. However, the company is adding packages all the time and I think in the future, the number of destinations outside North America will be increased significantly. Pro-Compensation: The structure of the Pyxism compensation plan is a 2×2 matrix. This is considered quite unique in the industry. It allow associates to move through very quickly, generating income each time. Six people is all it requires to fill the matrix. With four means to fill the matrix the burden is not all on one person. Members may also create income form three generations below in their downline. Con-New Start-Up: This company started less than twelve months ago so we don’t have a long history to look at. But they have performed very well thus far and based on their excellent management and strong financial situation, I feel quite at ease with Pyxism. No business is risk free, we need only look at the last two years to see many established companies that have gone under. The finances required to begin a Pyxism business is so minimal compared to the potential income, I feel this company is an excellent opportunity
Pro-Start Up Cost: Pyxism is very affordable and flexible for beginning associates. The cost to enter the business can be as low as $50 or up to $849 to get a jump start on the business. Most people enter the business at $349. Regardless of which one you choose, your earning potential is the same. How many businesses can you start for $50?
Pro-Company Support: Included in the start up cost is the set up of your own website to direct potential members to. Along with that there are recorded video presentations to help introduce potential new associates. Many of the up-lines have additional resources to train you and help market this opportunity. All in all there is excellent support from the company and up-lines to be successful with Pyxism.
Up-Line Support: Up-lines are not all the same, so I can only speak for mine. I chose to associate myself with one of the most successful up-lines in Pyxism. They provide many resources for training and marketing this business. I myself have in place a system that trains and provides the tools to market this or any type of Internet Marketing business very successfully. Not only does my system train you, but it also generates income from prospects even if they don’t join your primary business.
Pro-Trends In 2010: It is estimated that there are 175,000 people each week starting a home based business. Historically when the economy is in a slump, home businesses benefit from people looking for alternative incomes. Internet Marketing is here to stay and growing at a rapid rate. Internet marketers have access to one billion people worldwide. The travel industry is an 8 trillion dollar a year industry and 53% of commerce on the internet is related to travel. There is one Baby Boomer retiring every 18 seconds for the next eighteen years. Many will need additional incomes and many will want to travel during their retirement. Combine all these trends and you have a recipe for great success with Pyxism
Personal Preference: I wanted a business that allowed me to have the freedom to work from anywhere. I did not want to have to stock or personally sell any products. The company needed to be a reliable, ethical, and concerned about its members. Last but not least, I wanted to see the real potential for a six figure income within a couple of years, if not sooner. Pyxism met all the criteria.
Initially I looked at many home based businesses and Network Marketing companies and after considerable thought and debate, I chose Pyxism. I continue to feel they are the best company for me. I believe Pyxism is an excellent choice for people who enjoy travel and are seeking financial freedom.
