Follow Bruce Lee’s Beginning Workouts

Squatting with Barbell’s – 2 sets of 12 reps

How to perform this? To use proper equipment you should use a flat bench to lie back on. Use two hands to hold the equipment just over your head about 10 inches. Then, slowly lower it down towards the ground with elbows slightly bent. When reached as far as you are comfortable with, come back up and repeat the same step.

Bench Press – 2 sets of 6 reps

Bench press is very popular among all types of people. Even for martial artist how needed to expand their rib cage to take hits. This exercise is performed on a bench press with the bar holder. When you are securely under the bars, lift it up using two hands and lower it down to your chest then go back up. Repeat until tired.

Barbell Curls – 2 sets of 8 reps

This exercise should be practiced after you are warmed up and stretched. To perform this, simply hold the barbell across your shoulders; bend forward by keeping the legs and back straight.

Like any type of workout exercises, in no time, these reps will be too easy to accomplish without gaining more strength. You should find more ways to increase the methods or increase the reps. Bruce Lee started small and improved dramatically all because he was focused.
